Listen to the piece.
Antonin Leopold Dvorak (1841-1904), composer and briliant violinist, he is best known for his symphony no .9, from the New World, especially the 2nd movement with its cor anglais solo. Apart from 9 symphonies and 9 operas, he wrote a lage amount of religious oratorios and a large amount of smaller chmber works. In amaongst these are the Slavonic Dances, 0p 46 (from 1877), basing their temse on folk tunes from his own country, Czechoslavakia. This is Dance no. 4, arranged for Brass Quintet.
This ochestral score transcribes well for brass quintet and although some copmpromise is necessary to make the music playable, I hope the listener will agree that this works well for the players.
